About
Hi, I'm Camila! 👋
I was born in Brazil, but I've lived most of my adult life in different cities like London, Montreal, Barcelona and Dubai.
I have 7+ years of software engineering experience and in my current position I build infrastructure-as-a-service features that allow developers to deploy their apps to their own AWS account.
People I work with often say that I'm good at:
- Asking insightful questions
- Providing thorough code reviews that spot edge cases others miss
- Rapidly diagnosing and resolving complex production issues through advanced debugging techniques
- Coming up with creative solutions by thinking outside the box
I thrive on challenging problems and enjoy the process of learning something seemingly complex at first. My learning style is multi-modal, meaning I absorb information best through a combination of different approaches - reading, listening, experimenting, and teaching others.
Outside work, I'm passionate about traveling and exploring new places. I enjoy indoor bouldering, hiking, and being in nature, especially near water. I'm naturally curious and love learning about various topics, particularly human behavior, psychology and neuroscience.
